This belonged to Silent Key Charles Josey K4LNL. He used it
routinely up to the day he died. The unit weighs about 800 pounds. The drawers
do come out, but they weigh 350 pounds each.

This is as clean a unit as I have ever seen. Jo Ann says that it was in good working condition
when Charles died about three years ago. She said he was fanatic about his equipment, and it
shows it. The chassis is so shiney you could almost shave by looking into it. There is the odd
coffee splash on the front panel, but no scratches that I could see. All the controls worked
smoothly. All the drawers were easy to open. All the locking screws could be moved by hand and
without tools.

The tag on the top drawer says "Master Oscillator, RF Amplifier, Model RTF 2, Serial NO. 953".
All tubes, tube shields and cables were in place, as best I could tell.

The tag on the middle drawer says "Panel Chassis Assembly, Model RTY, Serial No: 203". Yes,
the tag after the "Model RTY" is blank. It is a Model RTY-nothing. No, I don't know why the
middle drawer is serial number 203 whereas the top and bottom drawers are serial numbers
953.
